Known as a country that is a city, Singapore is a bustling modern island that exhibits many Asian aspects. The country is located in the heart of the tropics bordered by Malaysia and close to Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

     Singapore is known worldwide for its tropical plant and freshwater fish exports to the aquarium trade. The aquarium hobby is also quite prevalent here. Many of the wholesale and export companies will open their doors to local purchases on the weekends.
