 AquaTouch Show Fish

Conditioned Specimens for Very Large Displays

During the past 10 years AquaTouch has been an industry leader in quarantined marine fish for our retail customers. Extensive development of protocols in acclimating marine fish to captive life has resulted in reduced mortality, increased longevity, and behaviors that attract people to aquariums.

At AquaTouch, we are pleased to be known for our healthy marine fish. Over the years we have sought out ethical collectors that could provide us with unusual and large size specimens. These same collectors employ net-catch techniques and have been visited by our staff. In working with these collectors directly we are able to simplify the chain of custody involved in handling of our specimens and their exposure to multiple water systems and environments. This effort has yielded an extraordinary quality of marine fish even before the quarantine process begins.

We are very excited to now offer show sized (10"+ Avg.), quarantined fish to nationwide customers. Every fish receives a fourteen to twenty-one day conditioning period and is meticulously cared for by our husbandry staff prior to ship-out. Conditioning includes the following:
  • Trained on Prepared Foods
  • Immune System Recovery
  • Stress Hormone Reduction
  • Adjusted to Captive Life
  • Reduced Susceptibility to Pathogens
  • Overall Improved Health

Each fish is hand collected by trusted divers to order. The process is very simple.

  1. Download a copy of our Show Fish Catalog.
  2. Fax or email your order and billing information to us.
  3. We will contact you with a pro forma invoice for confirmation.
  4. Divers go and collect your fish.
  5. AquaTouch will then quarantine & condition the fish.
  6. We will notify you when your fish is ready and arrange a shipping schedule. Acclimation and care information is provided with each order.
  7. Your fish will be shipped to your local airport via Air Cargo, ready for pick-up.

At any point in the process you can contact us with questions. Our husbandry staff is here to assist you. All of our contact information is located in the catalog.
