Scott has been involved in aquarium keeping since 2000. He currently has six aquariums totaling 150 gallons, including a saltwater reef, freshwater plant, and paladarium tanks. At one time he kept over 13 aquariums in his home! His reef achievements include the captive spawning of Pocillopora sp., Briarium sp., and Tridacna clams. He has kept a rare Liproproma carmabi basslet for over 2 1/2 years. |
Steve is an aquarium hobbyist who started with his first aquarium in 1996. He has been working at AquaTouch since 2004. Currently, Steve maintains an 80 gallon home aquarium with a custom 30 gallon tidal lagoon tank attached to it. He also keeps a freshwater planted aquarium and a 14 gallon Caribbean Reef Biotope tank. Steve is a certified SCUBA diver and aquarium magazine author. |

Joe joined AquaTouch in 2008 when he moved to Phoenix from Colorado. He has an extensive aquatics background and is strongly motivated by the hobby. Joe has maintained a variety of saltwater and freshwater aquariums in his home over the years. He has also designed a variety of aquarium displays. |
Even though he is only a Junior at Horizon High School, Donald is a bright and experienced aquarium hobbyist. He currently keeps a 60 gallon reef aquarium and 375 gallon marine fish tank at home. His passion for marine life has lead him to pursue a career in marine biology. |

Chris has been a marine enthusiast for as long as he can remember and has been in the marine aquarium hobby since 2005. In addition to caring for the animals in our store he currently maintains a 40 gallon cube reef tank at home. Chris also enjoys keeping Seahorses, Pipefish, and Mantis Shrimp. In his spare time he is a student at ASU getting his Bachelor's degree in biology and finishing pre-med. |
Tyler got started in the aquarium hobby in 2002 with a small freshwater tank. But quickly his interests grew. At one point he was keeping 7 aquariums with a combined total of over 270 gallons. Currently, he maintains a 7 gallon nano reef tank. Tyler has over 4 years of experience in the aquarium industry. He is now a student at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute. |

Michael has been a saltwater aquarium hobbyist since 1994 and a professional aquarist with AquaTouch since 1997. He is a certified SCUBA diver, member of the International Society for Reef Studies, and has published numerous articles in aquarium magazines, books, and scientific journals. Michael has given lectures at international conferences and studied coral reef fauna by diving in China, India, Thailand, Egypt, The Maldives, Malaysia, the Yucatan, and Indonesia. Michael specializes in soft coral taxonomy and microanatomy. |
Erle joined AquaTouch in 2004 after a 20+ year career in engineering. He supervises the custom design and installation portion of our company. Erle's engineering background has played an important roll in the recent upgrades to our retail store. He was also a driving force behind the construction of our quarantine facility located in Tempe, Arizona. In addition to taking care of the company infrastructure Erle also assists customers with their custom orders and any special needs they might have. |
